Don’t live near a CIEE Alumni Local Chapter? No worries – you can still connect with CIEE alumni at in-person events by hosting one yourself! CIEE now welcomes alumni to request a pop-up event in their city. The first event was organized in Seattle, WA and brought together a lot of incredible alumni for an evening of conversation about their cultural exchange experiences. ALUM OF THE MONTH
The Alum of the Month for September is Brenna Cox. Brenna's cultural immersion in Prague opened doors not just for herself, but for her family as well since she was able to introduce her parents to the Czech culture and people she became so fond of. Brenna's parents were so taken by the Czech people and their culture that upon their return to the Untied States, her mom wrote a children’s book based on a Czech legend. Through her mother's book and her personal stories from her time in Prague, Brenna continues to inspire others to travel and make connections around the world. Read Brenna's story.
