Maiwoche
Maiwoche is an event in May for a week. The event took place in Osnabrück, which held multiple concerts each day, along with carnival rides and food.
The concerts every night were different. They ranged from rock music to old jazz. Along with different bands or singers playing each night, there were also many different concerts happening at once with the different types of music. On the day that I went, I went to a rock concert that had an Irish band playing. This was a very cool experience, just to see what other English speaking countries were like in Germany. The band also shared a little bit of their experience with being in Germany, with the crowd, which I found to be very comforting and interesting.
The festival also had many carnival rides. This included cable cars and rides that spin you around. As a person who loves riding roller coasters, I found this to be the best part of the festival. Although they are not exactly roller coasters, they are something different, although very similar
There was also a lot of food during Maiwoche. This was any normal festival/carnival food. This included pizza, hamburgers, french fries, and more. Along with food, there were also a lot of alcohol stands, which is very common for festivals or carnivals in Germany.

A Little Trip to Bonn
Bonn will always have a special place in my heart. Known for its famous Beethoven-Haus and history as the old capital of West Germany, there is so much to see and do. You can spend hours just wandering aimlessly through the cobblestone streets, no destination in mind.
