An afternoon "merienda" at a typical andalusian palace
CIEE Sevilla organizes several gatherings at the CIEE Study Center several times per semester. One of everyone favorite is our potluck. It is a great opportunity for families and students to cook/bake together and learn from each other. Normally, sweets take over! We love chatting, dancing and singing with our students as well as catching up with our host families. See some photos of a typical “merienda”, afternoon snack in our beautiful Study Center, an old palace house from the 18th century, 1723 to be more precise. It has a typical Andalusian layout with the patio, fountain and pretty tiles. It is certainly a privilege to work at this location.
