Singapore has hosted major international golf events including the HSBC Women’s World Championship held at Sentosa Golf Club. Most recently in 2025, Lydia Ko secured a dominant victory there; her 23rd LPGA title and first win at the Singapore event.

Singapore is home to rising star Shannon Tan, the first Singaporean golfer to compete in the Olympic Games and a multi-time Ladies European Tour winner. As an amateur, she claimed the inaugural Singapore Ladies Masters in 2023, becoming only the second Singaporean to win on the China LPGA Tour.
