Securities:

Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs):
To give via your DAF, you can either use DAFDirect, or log in to your DAF provider and select CIEE (EIN: 13-4038907) as your DAF grant recipient. It may also be listed under Council on International Educational Exchange.
IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)
A QCD is a tax-advantaged way for individuals aged 70 1/2 and older to donate to charity directly from their Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs). The distribution is excluded from taxable income, potentially reducing income tax liability and helping individuals fulfill their required minimum distributions (RMDs).

Deferred Gifts and Bequests:
Please use the following sample language for gifts by will, trust or retirement beneficiary designation:

Donating Stocks:
Giving gifts of stocks, bonds or mutual funds is one of the most tax-savvy ways to make a gift to CIEE. Your financial advisor can explain the possible tax benefits depending on whether the stock has appreciated or lost value since the time you acquired it.
