Once all the paperwork is submitted with your company, CIEE will verify the donation and your company will send the match. You will be recognized for the match at the level of the combined gifts, i.e. if you make a $500 gift and your company sends in a matching $500 you will be recognized at the $1,000 level. If you’re unsure if your company matches charitable contributions, check with your HR department.

Yes, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)—also known as an IRA Charitable Rollover—a simple, tax-smart way to support CIEE. If you are 70½ or older, you can give up to $100,000 per year directly from your IRA. Your gift counts toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), is excluded from your taxable income, and makes an immediate impact by helping students access international education and exchange opportunities.

Please note that the donation must be transferred directly from your IRA to CIEE to qualify.
