The city that never sleeps

New York City for the first time! Actually it has been my first time in the United States. It is just like in the movies.

During my orientation meeting there, I met a lot of people from all over the world - Russia, Taiwan, Czech Republic, Mexico - and I was happy to share the experience with them. I learned many interesting facts and I let my breath be taken away by everything. We have seen the World Trade Center, Times Square, Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty and we’ve been also to the Rockefeller Center.

It was wonderful to see everything with my own eyes. I don’t want to spoil it for you, because like they say it’s better to see once than hear a thousand times. Even though the weather was bad, it was worth it. I can’t wait to meet my host family!
