The Ladies European Tour, Europe’s top professional women’s golf circuit, is headquartered just outside London at Buckinghamshire Golf Club. Founded in 1978, it now operates in partnership with the LPGA Tour, expanding opportunities for elite female golfers across Europe and beyond.

Did You Know?
From 1901 to 1936, West London’s Ranelagh Club hosted the Ranelagh International Cup, one of the earliest international team events for women’s golf. It brought together top female amateurs from England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales, helping shape the competitive women’s game in the UK.

The Spanish Open
The London Scottish Golf Club, founded in 1865 on Wimbledon Common, became England’s first 18-hole golf course in 1871. This set the standard for course design in the country and remains a historic landmark for UK golf.
