Teach in Spain: Language Immersion

The Teach in Spain: Language Immersion Program has been created specifically for applicants that have not spent a serious amount of time in Spain previously and are rusty in their Spanish language skills. The program offers full support with in-depth two and four week Language Immersion options that include a homestay in Seville or Madrid, as well as an in-country orientation and several other benefits—keep reading below!

Teach in Spain: Language Immersion Program Highlights

  • Pre-departure school placement at a public school in a pueblo, town, or city in Andalusia or in the communities of Madrid
  • Support of CIEE professional staff before you depart for Spain
  • Teaching and program guides to help you plan and prepare
  • Pre-departure online orientation training
  • Upgrade - Pre-departure TEFL certification
  • Airport transfer on designated arrival date
  • Orientation in Seville or Madrid, depending on placement
    • Workshops on teaching methodology, cross-cultural training, housing, health and safety, visa registration, and more
    • Cultural and networking opportunities
    • Accommodations and all meals
  • Language Immersion Courses (two or four weeks)
  • Local-family homestay during your time spent enrolled in the Language Immersion Program
  • Five nights of accommodation in your school location (Seville only)
  • A monthly stipend ranging between €700–€1000 (dependent on placement) to cover living expenses and new adventures, paid holidays too!
  • International medical insurance and 24 hour worldwide assistance provided through the CIEE iNext travel card
  • 24 hour in-country emergency support services via the CIEE office in Seville and Madrid
  • Visa papers acquisition and visa application advice (apply in person at the Spanish Embassy or Consulate)
