You will find yourself teaching English in a culture that is very different from your own—bringing your own culture into the classroom through your lesson plans.

CIEE offers you three program choices in China:

Teach in China—Five or ten months in one of China’s cities or towns, teaching English to students of any age.

Teach Immersion China—Discover a China away from the over-crowded cities and immerse yourself into the life of the Chinese people where you can challenge yourself to understand the Chinese culture, learn the language, and make connections in a developing area.

Teach in China Professional—Teach in China Professional is intended for qualified teachers looking to further their career in education or immerse themselves more in the Chinese work environment. Positions last 10 months to a year in one of China’s cities teaching English to students at a secondary or higher level.
