CIEE offers paid teaching positions in seven countries (Chile, China, Dominican Republic, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, and Vietnam) for university graduates looking to teach English abroad and immerse themselves in a foreign community.

Teach in Chile

On our traditional Teach in Chile program, you'll teach English in a post-secondary school for ten months in one of the vibrant cities of Santiago, Valparaíso, or Viña del Mar. The Teach Immersion Chile program is perfect for service-learning enthusiasts that wish to live off the beaten tourist trail with a host family and immerse themselves in language and local culture. Spend four or six months teaching English to elementary-aged students in rural Chile.

Teach in China

CIEE Teach in China places individuals just like you in paid semester or year English teaching jobs in elementary, middle, high school, or university level positions in urban or town locations in eastern China. Anywhere you teach in China, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in local customs, share your own way of life, and have new experiences that open your eyes to the world of change that defines modern day China.

Teach in the Dominican Republic

You could find yourself living and teaching English on a tropical island with CIEE Teach in the Dominican Republic. Rich in history and culture, the Dominican Republic offers you a glimpse into one of the most vibrant cultures of the Caribbean. Learn to dance the merengue, perfect your Spanish, and gain international work experience in paradise.

Teach in South Korea

Teach English in South Korea with CIEE to explore a country that embraces both a modern and traditional way of life. CIEE Teach in South Korea places flexible and enthusiastic individuals in established, trusted, private English language immersion schools in and around Seoul in year-long teaching positions. Gain international work experience and build your resume teaching abroad in one of Asia’s most vibrant cities!

Teach in Spain

Teach English in public schools throughout beautiful Andalusia, Spain. CIEE teaching positions are in both urban and pueblo locations. Anywhere you teach in Andalusia, you will have the opportunity to participate in local customs, share your own way of life, have new experiences that will forever change your outlook on life, and expand your international work experience on your resume!

Teach in Thailand

As a CIEE participant you’ll have an opportunity to fulfill the role as a highly respected paid English teacher abroad in Thailand, with options for semester or year positions teaching English at primary or secondary schools in urban, town or rural locations. Anywhere you teach in Thailand, you will have the opportunity to learn Thai customs, share your own way of life, and have new experiences.

Teach in Vietnam

Teach English in Vietnam as a lead teacher in a local language school, helping students of all ages prepare for rigorous international examinations, or in the local universities helping students to improve and expand English language education. Teach in Vietnam is an opportunity to expand your horizons and immerse yourself in this historic land by teaching English and culture.
