Phoebe S.

Student Traveler
Phoebe is a junior at Burnside State High School in Australia's Sunshine Coast School: Burnside State High School Hometown: Issaquah, WA, USA

Hey guys, I'm Phoebe Skok. I am a 16-year old from Issaquah, WA , USA who is currently studying abroad in Australia's Sunshine Coast and loving every minute of it! Having grown up in a family that does not travel much, I honestly don't know how I wound up catching the travel bug but I am ecstatic to have discovered that my life's purpose is to see the world. I have a habit of reading guidebooks before I fall asleep so that way I end up dreaming about where I want to go next. When I'm not out exploring my new home town or doing homework, you can usually find me stage-managing the latest theatre production at my school, playing with my two kittens, baking some culinary creation, hanging out with friends, and singing original songs and Broadway ballads constantly. During the summer, I love water sports, especially wakesurfing, and would love to try ocean surfing while I'm here in Oz. Anyways, I can't wait to share the good, the bad, and everything in between about my high school study abroad experience and life in Australia with you!
