Student Traveler
Arts + Sciences Cape Town, South Africa School: Rutgers University-Newark Hometown: Kumasi, Ghana

Grace Appiah, a senior at Rutgers University Newark pursuing majors in Public Administration and African American and African Studies with a concentration in Social Justice. She is a native of Ghana and resides in Newark, New Jersey. Grace is a part of the Honors Living and Learning Community and a member of the BOLD Women's Leadership Network at her institution. As a Visionary and Activist, she champions community and youth development, quality education and works around decolonization through Black women's experiences and leadership in Africa and the Diaspora. Through travel. activism and service, Grace have exchanged cultures, connected with people and made significant impact around the world. She enjoys spending quality time with God, her family, and friends. She loves reading, writing and learning about Black history. She is on the journey of learning to pursue social justice through her Christian faith.
