See a Broadway show.

With 40 professional theatres, this district holds many of the best performances in the world, as well as a great window into American culture. Line up early and you might get tickets for a Broadway show that day at half-price at a TKTS Discount Booth in Times Square, Southstreet Seaport, or Brooklyn.

Warm up at the Bronx Zoo.

Nothing says NYC like pizza. In and around the Big Apple, you'll find them hand-tossed and thin - all the better for folding and eating. Be sure to grab a slice at one of the city's many pizza joints.

Go for a glide.

Rent skates and take to the ice at the world-famous ice rink at Rockefeller Center. Skating in the heart of the city next to Paul Manship's gilded sculpture of Prometheus is amazing any day. Be sure to keep an eye out for some of television's biggest stars who work in the very same plaza.

See the city's historic landmarks.

Wander up 42nd Street to see some of New Yorks' iconic buildings and locations, including the Empire State Building, Grand Central Terminal, and Times Square. Or take a winter stroll through Central Park.

Discover the closest ski area to New York City.

Less than 40 miles from the city rests Campgaw Mountain Ski Center, where beginners and experts alike go to indulge in one of New York's greatest past times: skiing. On a clear day, you can see Manhattan from the peak.

Relive Olympic history.

Travel upstate to beautiful Lake Placid, New York where you'll find the Herb Brooks Arena, site of the famous "miracle on ice," where the U.S. Hockey Team upset the Soviet Union to win gold in 1980. You can also see the ice where American Eric Heiden raced to five gold medals in men's speed skating. Afterwards, enjoy some outdoor winter fun yourself.

Go back in time with the orchestral performance of a lifetime.

For one night only, the Vienna Mozart Orchestra will be performing the composer's greatest hits at Lincoln Center. Travel back in time with Austria's world-famous orchestra who will be wearing period costumes. Discover the magic of music on March 9!
