Count On Our Unrivaled Support, Every Step Of The Way
The first thing you should do if you have any questions, feel uncomfortable or upset, or need help is talk to your host parents. They can help you best if you open up and share what’s on your mind.
The next person to call is your Local Coordinator (LC). He/she has the answers to your questions about the program. LCs are a great resource for information and ideas about things like your community-service project. They even can help you get through a difficult time when you need a friend to talk to. Your Local Coordinator will provide you with personal contact information at the beginning of the program. Keep it handy, and feel free to call!
If neither your host parents nor your LC can help, contact the CIEE Support Team at 1-800-448-9944. Office hours are 9 a.m.-8 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday. Our staff also is available 24/7 for emergency support. Outside of business hours you can call the CIEE Emergency Line at 1-800-448-9944 and follow the prompts to speak with on-call staff who will assist you.
