- Public schools (EPIK): Earn $1,550 - $1,800 USD/month

CIEE Program Snapshot
- Contracts are for 12 months with start dates in February, August and September each year!
- The Teach in Korea program includes job placement, extensive pre-departure resources, and ongoing support from CIEE staff. The fee is $1,950 if you need to take our 150-hour online TEFL course, or $1,350 if you already have an equivalent credential. The balance of the fee is only due once you accept a job offer from a Korean school.

Eligibility Requirements
Please note the following visa/eligibility requirements for the CIEE Teach in South Korea program:
- Native-level English fluency.
- Citizenship from the United States, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, Ireland, or the United Kingdom.
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in any field, or be on track to earn one in less than 12 months. The degree must be from an accredited institution located in one of the 7 countries above.
- Be no younger than 18 and no older than 50 years of age.
- Clean criminal history with no record of arrests or charges.
- Employers expect candidates to have TEFL certification, but don't worry, it's included in our program package!

Rules, Terms, and Conditions
Eligibility: The CIEE Teach in South Korea 2025-2026 Program Giveaway Contest is available to individuals who meet the following eligibility requirements:
1. Native-level English fluency.
2. Citizenship from the USA, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, Ireland, or the United Kingdom.
3. Have a Bachelor’s degree, or be on track to earn one in less than 12 months. The degree must be from an accredited institution located in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, Ireland, or the United Kingdom.
4. Be no younger than 18 and no older than 50 years of age on the program’s arrival date.
5. Clean criminal history with no record of arrests or charges.
6. Individuals who already submitted a complete application for CIEE's Teach in South Korea or Teach in South Korea Basics programs in the past 365 days are ineligible to enter this contest.
Prize Details:
6. Contest winners will be able to participate in one (1) CIEE Teach in South Korea program, for which the usual Program Fee and Application Fee will be completely waived. Winners who wish to enroll in the program will still need to submit an online application for CIEE review, and CIEE reserves the right to reject applications from candidates who are determined, at CIEE’s sole discretion, to be ineligible or unsuitable for acceptance to the program.
7. A winner who does not have an Education degree, TEFL certificate, or equivalent credential will be able to enroll in the Teach in South Korea program, which includes the online 150-Hour CIEE TEFL Certificate. The normal fee for this program package is $1,950, but the winner will be able to enroll free of charge.
8. A winner who has a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education (or is on track to earn one in less than 12 months), or who can present CIEE with a completed or in-progress TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate of at least 120 hours, will be able to enroll in the Teach in South Korea Basics program, which offers the same preparation, placement, and support services, minus the 150-Hour CIEE TEFL Certificate. The normal fee for this program package is $1,350, but the winner will be able to enroll free of charge.
9. Prizes awarded through this contest may only be used for Fall 2025 or Spring 2026 program start dates.
10. Prizes awarded through this contest cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred to another recipient.
Contest Procedure and Prize Drawing:
11. The contest begins on December 1st, 2024 and ends on May 1st, 2025.
12. Applicants must submit their first name, last name, email address, mobile phone number, and country of citizenship through the CIEE Teach in South Korea Program Giveaway web form. Submission of this information constitutes an entry into the contest. Only one contest entry is allowed per person.
13. Once per month, on the first business day of the month, one eligible winner will be chosen at random from the contest entries submitted during the previous month, to receive the Prize described above.
14. CIEE will notify the winner via email. If CIEE does not receive any response from the winner after 15 calendar days from the time the first email notification was sent, the Prize will be forfeited.
15. CIEE will award prizes at its complete discretion. CIEE reserves the right to disqualify contest entries that CIEE, at its sole discretion, deems to be unsportsmanlike, incomplete, or ineligible for any reason.
Miscellaneous:
16. CIEE reserves the right to change, modify or cancel the contest or the terms and conditions of the contest at any time and without advance notice.
17. By entering the contest as described above, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you may not participate in the contest.
