Stade de France and the Great Mosque of Paris
Il fait chaud...it's HOT! France has been experiencing very high temperatures this week, but we aren't letting that stop us from exploring the great city of Paris! This week students enjoyed a private guided tour of the Stade de France, one of Europe's largest stadiums, which happens to be the home of France's national football (soccer) and rugby teams. They were even able to enter the changing rooms and sit in the area reserved for the president of France and his entourage. We also visited la Grande Mosquée de Paris, which was founded in 1926. After a tour of the mosque, students were treated to a delicious traditional thé à la menthe (mint tea) together.
