This week our Global Navigators travelled West by ferry to the island of Samsø, which has been designated a model renewable energy community due to its efforts to become carbon negative. While on the island of Samso students enjoyed community building games and activities such as Human FUSBOL, bubble trampolines, vollyball, sing alongs and exploring the many vista points that the island has to offer. Additionally, students enjoyed some traditional Danish food from the locally grown gardens and carfeterias. Students learned about the Green transition with wind energy and local climate solutions in small communities.
