On Thursday, we met with local street artists in Rennes to discover the history of street art, see works of art in the streets of Rennes, and make our own street art! Students asked the artists questions such as how long it takes to create a piece of art, what colors they preferred to use, when they first made their own street art, and what the differences are between street art and graffiti.

We then split into three groups and created three works of art! One group chose the word "Rennesbow" as a play on words of rainbow; another group chose "4Rennes'ers" as a play on words of foreigners; and the third group chose "oh la vache," which translates roughly to "oh my gosh."
