As a CIEE Global Navigator Content Creator, you’ll document and share your summer abroad your way. Post your travels, host family, school spirit, favorite foods, and every unforgettable moment.
What will you do while studying abroad?
- Create at least 4 in-feed posts and 10 stories throughout your program
- Tag & add @cieeglobalnavigators as a collaborator
- Use the hashtag #cieesummer2026 & #cieecontentcreator in your captions
- Embrace the latest trends in your own way—be creative, be bold, be YOU
- Three posts within one of the following categories:
- Get ready with me video
- High school spirit day
- Day in the life video
- Interview CIEE staff or program leaders for an “Ask Me Anything”
- Highlight of your favorite cultural activity
- And more!
What will you submit after your program?
- Upload 40 "best of" pictures that capture the highlights of your experience
- Produce 5 short-form video clips of program-specific features, like:
- You and your host family sharing a meal
- You and your friends on an overnight excursion
- Interview with your teacher, CIEE staff, etc.
Why should you apply?
- More opportunities to share your referral code, earning $200 for every traveler you refer
- Participate in weekly contests for a chance to win extra prize money
- Chance to win one of three grand prizes of $150
- Enhances your resume and strengthens your college application
What shots are we looking for?
- You and your friends
- Selfies/group shots in front of major landmarks
- You and your host family
- Excursions and cultural trips
- Favorite local food
- Video content like: day in the life, get ready with me, academic activities, etc.
Best Practices
- Make sure your social media profiles are public this summer
- Tag @cieeglobalnavigators and your high school
- Add your referral link + @cieeglobalnavigators to your bio & earn $200 for each student who signs up with your code
Always ask permission before filming locals or host families to respect their privacy and local customs
