Jointly funded by the German Bundestag and the U.S. Congress, the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Program (CBYX) is a full scholarship exchange program that offers young Americans the opportunity to live with a host family and attend high school in Germany for a year. You could be one of 250 students chosen to represent the United States as a CBYX Youth Ambassador.
CIEE administers the CBYX program for students from: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wyoming, Washington D.C.

Language and Cultural Immersion Camp in Germany
- You must be a U.S. citizen.
- You must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- To be eligible for the 2018-2019 program, you must be between the ages of 15 and 18 and 6 months by August 1, 2019. Birthdate range: February 1, 2001-August 1, 2004.
- German language is not a requirement.
