Become fluent in German, learn another culture and expand your horizons to the world!
Jointly funded by the German Bundestag and the U.S. Congress, the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Program (CBYX) is a full scholarship exchange program that offers young Americans the opportunity to live with a host family and attend high school in Germany for a year. You could be one of 50 students chosen to represent the Southeast United States (including Puerto Rico) as a CBYX youth ambassador. Become fluent in German, learn another culture and expand your horizons to the world!

Eligibility
- You must be a U.S. citizen.
- You must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- To be eligible for the 2018-2019 program, you must be between the ages of 15 and 18 and 6 months by August 1, 2018. Birthdate range: January 30, 2000-August 1, 2003.
- German language is not a requirement.
