Flexible, Affordable Study Abroad
Students experience the world in the Open Campus Block Network!
Many Locations, One Program
Connecting students to today’s most flexible and affordable study abroad experience
CIEE’s Open Campus Block Network allows students to design their own study abroad term by enrolling in up to three 6-week Open Campus Program Blocks. Because each location in the Open Campus Block Network operates on the same schedule, students can move seamlessly between locations for a one-of-a-kind experience tailored to their individual interests and academic requirements.
All Open Campus Block Network locations enhance students’ intercultural skills and academics by providing study tours and daily co-curricular activities within the community.
Home to thousands of unique program combinations
Students seeking deep immersion may enroll in three consecutive 6-week Open Campus Blocks at one location within the network. While students seeking a rich comparative-learning experience may choose to study at a different location within the network during each 6-week block.
The Open Campus Block program offers students courses taught in English across multiple disciplines as well as foreign language classes, service learning opportunities, research projects, and international internships.
