First-time applicants are charged a $75 application fee via credit card (Visa or MasterCard only). This fee is waived for IFDS alumni.
Upon confirming participation in a seminar, a nonrefundable $500 deposit is required. Participants can pay this online via credit card (Visa or MasterCard only) or choose to be billed. This deposit is part of, not in addition to, the total program fee amount.
Full payment of fees is due at least 30 days before the program start date.
CIEE accepts program fee payments via check or credit card (Visa or MasterCard only) through a secure fax line. Payments are not accepted by phone.
Program statements and detailed payment instructions can be viewed in confirmed participants’ online CIEE accounts by late October for winter seminars and late March for summer seminars.
Scholarships and grants awarded by CIEE will appear as a credit on program statements. More information about funds awarded by CIEE is available on the Grants & Discounts page.
