The program details

This program is based at CIEE Lisbon at Universidade Nova de Lisboa (UNL), at the School of Social Sciences and Humanities (FCSH). FCSH, one of UNL’s five faculties, is a multidisciplinary unit that promotes diversity of knowledge, creativity, and freedom of thought. UNL was founded in 1977 as a public institution with five faculties.

CIEE offers one course per session, taught in English, which analyzes select aspects of urbanism, architecture, sculpture, and painting, and explores identity and nationalism through literature, film, and music. Students can choose to participate in one, two, or three four-week sessions.

Courses are taught by faculty or postdoctoral fellows of the FCSH and UNL.
