The program details

This program examines the engineering aspects of creating and executing renewable, sustainable and recycling projects while also looking at the real world costs, both financial and community-related. Get ready to get real, hands-on experience. This program will include site visits to wind farms, hydro-electrical facilities, and energy laboratories.

Dublin City University (DCU). Situated on an 85-acre campus just a 20-30 minute bus ride away from the city center, DCU gives students the best of both worlds: the social and cultural benefits of city life with the security and vibrancy of a contemporary university campus. DCU was set up in 1980 to fulfill the national requirement for a highly trained workforce with skills in the areas of business, science and electronics, computer technology, communications and languages, and to act as an agent for change in its local community. The university is now recognized nationally and internationally as a center of academic excellence.

Courses will be taught by local university staff from the engineering faculty with expertise in the areas of renewable energy and sustainability. Courses are taught in English.
