Classes are for CIEE students only.

Final grades in courses are based on a combination of attendance, participation, papers, presentations, and a final paper or exam.

Classes are typically scheduled during the mornings or afternoons, Monday through Thursday. Students should expect daily homework assignments and weekly quizzes. Most courses combine lectures with local field trips and excursions to help students gain a better understanding of the local culture and use their language skills with local residents.
