Every CIEE semester program has frequent cultural excursions and a multi-day study tour uniquely designed to complement the program’s academics and enhance students’ cultural immersion. In Perth, past study tours and excursions have included:
- Interactive hikes led by Aboriginal guides to get to know the flora and fauna of Australia, or spooky night tours of historic Fremantle prison – built by its very first convicts
- Surfing lessons or trips to Australian football games
- Visits to beautiful Rottnest Island or the southwest rainforest region
