This graphic was inspired by the impact phones have on traveling. As I trek around Australia, I have seen countless tourists live life through their phone lens, entirely consumed by their screen while sitting on the most beautiful beach or sea cliff, watching a dazzling sunset, or meeting a wild wallaby.
Nowadays, our social media accounts often narrate the tale of our travel experience and in Australia, it is particularly hard not to capture the magical landscape. I too, am guilty of wearing my phone as glasses, but it’s important to try and resist the urge of capturing the ‘perfect photo’ and to first, experience the perfect moment.
