Spring '19 Block II - Foz do Iguaçu

Foz do Iguaçu is the Brazilian city on the border of Iguaçu Falls. The city is the 7 largest in the State of Paraná. The Iguaçu falls located on the border of Argentina and Brazil and consisting of approximately 257 individuals’ falls over 2.7 km were chosen as one of the New Natural Seven Wonders of the World.

Foz do Iguaçu is home of the Itaipu dam, the world’s second largest hydroelectric plant in power generation, after the Three Gorges Dam in China.

Free Time Suggestions

Explore Parque das Aves (bird park) and see and get very close to several birds, including toucans, macaws, scarlet ibises, flamingos, and parrots.
