William Martens III

Biography

William Martens III is former managing director of Citigroup. During his extensive career there, William worked in international and domestic banking, including 10 years in the Philippines and Hong Kong; headed departments responsible for advising and providing financial services to a variety of multinational, professional, and shipping clients; and served in several areas of specialty finance. Prior to his banking career, he served in the U.S. Navy. William currently serves as a trustee and treasurer of the Shelter Island (NY) Library and the Canaan Square Association.

William holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Amos Tuck School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Dartmouth College.
