Michelle Jiménez

Biography

Michelle Jiménez is a Medical Doctor and Specialist in Internal Medicine from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madere y Maestra PUCMM. She earned her Ph.D. in Community Health, with concentrations in Health Behaviors, at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA, where she also served as a research and teaching assistant, supporting international students and working with global communities.  

Michelle is a former Head of the School of Medicine at PUCMM, Santiago, and has gained extensive experience in academics and curricular management. She has taught more than 20 courses in her 22 years of teaching experience, both for undergraduate and graduate programs, mainly in public and community health, health management, research methods, and statistics. She has worked as a CIEE facilitator for CPH and custom programs since 2015.
