Mark Simmons

Biography

Mark is a Scot, a Brit and a Londoner. He has an MA in History from the University of Aberdeen and a postgraduate degree in Administrative and Information Management from Napier University Edinburgh. He spent a year as an undergraduate studying American history at Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania, He is a passionate advocate for the transformative nature of international education and cultural immersion Mark has over thirty years’ experience of working in international relations and higher education in both the USA & UK. Prior to joining CIEE, he served in leading academic and operational roles in both the UK and American study abroad programs.
