Anna joined AIC in 2014 as NYC Program Director. Her passion for international experiential education was first sparked while studying Spanish in high school. She went on to travel to four continents with the University of Delaware as an undergraduate student. These trips left Anna with a strong desire to share the amazing experience of study abroad with others and to continue to travel.
During her Master’s work in the Foreign Languages and Literature department at the University of Delaware, Anna began to lead students abroad whilst helping with a faculty led program to Mexico. She also participated in a faculty exchange that brought her back to southern Spain. Following her Master's work, Anna went on to lead students abroad with Putney Student Travel, and later taught English in an underserved community in Rishon LeZion, Israel. Upon returning to the States, Anna worked as a Career Services Representative at Everest Institute. Having spent a number of years traveling, studying, and working abroad, Anna is excited to have the chance to shape the lives of CIEE students through the types of experiences that were instrumental to her own personal growth.
Anna holds a Master's in Spanish Language and Literature, and a Bachelor's in Diplomacy and Three Languages both from the University of Delaware. Anna has completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training andenjoys practicing and teaching yoga in her spare time. Anna can also be found balancing city life with some outdoor adventures in hiking, biking, and continued travel.
