Teach in Chile | Go Abroad Again
Loved your time abroad? Why not go again? Picture yourself living and working near the white sand beaches of South America’s Pacific coast, or living in a dynamic urban center within sight of the snow-capped Andes. CIEE’s Teach in Chile program places native English speakers in the capital city of Santiago, the seaport of Valparaíso, the nearby resort of Viña del Mar, and other locations across Chile. Regardless of where you teach, you’ll have your own Chilean adventures inside and outside the classroom.
As a CIEE alum, you will receive a 10% discount on the program fee. Apply by November 1 and you could be exploring Chile this Spring! Learn more

ALUM OF THE MONTH
The Alumni of the Month for October are Whitney, Madeline, Lily, and Antara - the four CIEE alumni behind the nonprofit organization Elimiwaste. These young environmental activists participated in CIEE's High School Summer Abroad Global Discovery program in Lisbon, Portugal in 2017, where students worked with Ocean Alive to protect and preserve the ocean. Moved by the experience, they created their very own nonprofit organization to raise awareness about ocean pollution and educate others about their own ecological footprints and the impact humans have on preservation. Learn more about these outstanding alumni and Elimiwaste in this recent interview.

ALUMNI VOICES
Excerpts from recently published alumni stories:
"Travelling is the best textbook you can have. You learn more things when you travel than you do sitting in a classroom." -Audrey (CIEE High School Study Abroad, 2017-2018)
"Doing a full-time internship allows you to fully immerse yourself in the work you are doing. Immersion into your field allows for a faster development that, for instance, you wouldn't get from a part-time internship. For me, this meant focusing my daily efforts on improving the editing and structure of the videos I was making." -Alum (CIEE Global Internships, 2018)
