Welcome to the CIEE WEST program!

We are delighted to have you as a participant and thank you for choosing CIEE as your program sponsor. WEST, as you know, is a truly unique program that combines language instruction, work experience and travel. It represents a chance not just to learn new skills and to apply them in a business setting; it is also a chance to meet new people, to immerse yourself in a culture different than your own, and to share your own unique outlook and way of life with those around you. As a result, your experience is sure to prove a rewarding one and a wise investment in your future.

As you prepare to begin your program, and throughout your stay in the U.S., it is important that you understand what is expected and required of you at each step along the way, and what you, in turn, can expect from your program. This website has been designed to provide you with information on all critical components of your program and, combined with the WEST Program Handbook, should answer most of the questions you might have.
