I felt awesome everyday! I met a lot of people, not only American but also Colombian, Mexican…etc. The experience I have this summer is very different with what I had when I traveled in another Country. I met a local family, they treat me like a member of them. I want to meet a lot people, I want to live the American life, I want to try a lot of new things, like eat different food...etc, the most important is I just want to have fun. That's why I'm here, USA. So there is no reason that I should have a life without smiles. Some problems I need to learn how to solve by my self, and my American friends they helped me a lot, too! So I’ll tell my friends who want to join the Work & Travel program: if you think the employer has to look after you like your parent, if you’re afraid to speak English, if you complain a lot, then, save your money and join the tourist group! I learned a lot of things through this program of CIEE. The experience I like most is when you open your mind, you’ll find everything is so wonderful, and American, Mexican and Colombian guys, they could be your good friends, not only the people who can practice language with you!
