As a member of WYSE Work Abroad Association, CIEE encourages you to show your creative talents by joining WYSE Work Abroad's "Expand Your Horizons" Video Contest.

Work Abroad: an experience that can change lives, broaden world views, and provide priceless professional development.

Join WYSE Work Abroad Association in celebrating the many benefits of the work abroad experience by participating in our WYSE Work Abroad “Expand Your Horizons” Video Contest—a “You Tube” video submission contest that celebrates the experience of work abroad directly from the experts: the participants. One lucky participant will win US$2,000!

How can a work abroad participant join the contest?

1. You must be participating in a J-1 program this summer in the US through a WYSE Work Abroad member organization (such as CIEE).

2. Create a 2-3 minute video about your work abroad experience.

3. Submit your videos to WYSE Work Abroad’s You Tube group here.

4. Notify WYSE Work Abroad that you’ve entered the contest by sending them your name and the title of your video. IMPORTANT: You must also indicate that you are a CIEE participant.

If CIEE is not your host or sending organization, you can find out if your sponsoring organization is a WYSE Work Abroad Association member here.

The winner will be selected by a selection committee and notified in August 2008. The winner will be flown to Brooklyn, New York in September to accept their US$2,000 prize. Travel costs will be paid for by WYSE Work Abroad.

The video contest winner will be named WYSE Work Abroad’s 2008 Participant of the Year.
