The Applicant

• Receives the DS-7002 form from the Host Organization, signs and completes the participant portion, and submits this form to the CIEE representative in his/her home country;
• Completes program application and submits to local CIEE representative;
• If application is approved, receives the DS-2019 (Certificate of Eligibility) from CIEE and schedules an embassy interview in his/her home country;
• Attends the embassy interview and obtains a J-1 Intern/Trainee visa.
