Overseas Representative Network

To serve as a direct contact for prospective participants, applicants and local university and institutional contacts, CIEE partners with independent organizations throughout the world. Our overseas representatives play a key role in program marketing, participant recruitment and enrollment, and participant support. Specifically, CIEE representatives:

• Provide program marketing to prospective participants within a defined territory;
• Provide information in local language as necessary or required;
• Provide information and materials and assist with initial application process;
• Help participants obtain J-1 visa from the local US Embassy or Consulate;
• Serve as home-country contact in the event of an emergency.
