Why work with CIEE?
As the largest program sponsor in the Trainee category and one of the first to receive its designation, CIEE has a depth of knowledge and experience that is unmatched. For participating Host Companies and their Trainees, this translates into a form of customer support that has been fine-tuned to meet their needs and expectations at every step along the way.
Over the years, CIEE has developed a wide array of resources and services geared toward its Host Company clients. These services are designed not only to support those companies that are already hosting, but also those that are just learning about the program and considering ways in which this program can fit their business operations. Whatever your current status, the services and resources outlined below should be able to assist you in taking that next step.
- The Trainee Select Service – Our version of a ‘jobs board,’ Trainee Select is an online service that helps Host Companies to recruit qualified Trainee candidates from around the world
- In-Country Recruitment Fairs – Given the obvious benefits of face-to-face recruitment for companies and interested candidates, CIEE has begun conducting recruitment fairs in various countries throughout the world
- Account Management Services – Companies with a continuing or stated commitment to the Trainee Program are supported directly by a CIEE Account Manager
- General Program Support – CIEE has trained and experienced Customer Service and Support staff that are available to assist both companies and participants in the event that issues of any type arise throughout the program
From the beginning of the application process to the end of the training program, CIEE and its overseas representatives are there to support Trainees throughout the process and to help ensure that their experience is a successful one. Specifically, CIEE provides the following support services to its Trainees:
- Careful evaluation of the Trainee’s Host Company, ensuring an appropriate environment for training
- An online, pre-departure orientation that prepares the participant to manage their responsibilities while living in the United States
- Health and travel insurance covering them during their stay in the US
- A 24-hour emergency support hotline
- A toll-free line for general program inquiries
- Online evaluations of the quality of their training experience
- Regional networking events, providing trainees with a forum for meeting other Trainees and interacting directly with CIEE staff
