Early Withdrawal

If you need to end your training program early and return home for any reason, you must notify the CIEE Customer Service Center immediately and submit a request for early withdrawal from your training program by email or fax. Your request should include the following information:

• A brief explanation of your reasons for leaving early
• Your planned last day at your Host Company
• The date you will be leaving the US
• A summary of your departure flight details
• Your DS-2019 number
• Your Supervisor’s full name and telephone number

You can email your request to a CIEE Customer Service agent at contact@ciee.org. Please be sure to enter ‘Early Withdrawal Request’ in the subject line. Requests can also be faxed to CIEE at 207-553-4299. Please direct this fax to ‘Attn: CIEE Customer Service Center.’

Please also be sure to contact the CIEE representative in your home country to notify them of your program cancellation. If you have any additional questions please call the Customer Service Center at 1-888-268-6245.
