Program Evaluations

As a sponsor of the J-1 visa Trainee category, CIEE is committed to your satisfaction with your approved practical training program. In order to monitor the Trainee Program, CIEE conducts program evaluations approximately 30 days prior to both your program midpoint and end date. If you are participating in a program of 3 months duration or less, you need only complete the final evaluation requirement.

Evaluations are composed of two separate questionnaires; one is to be completed by you and the other is to be completed by your supervisor. The information collected will be used to assess your program and to improve the overall quality of CIEE Trainee programs. Additionally, by completing the program evaluations, you are fulfilling a requirement of the Exchange Visitor Program.

For your convenience, the evaluations are administered online. At the corresponding program milestone, CIEE will e-mail you instructions and links to both the Host Company and Trainee evaluations. Therefore, it is important to provide a valid e-mail address during SEVIS registration.

Please be aware that it is your responsibility to pass these instructions along to your Host Company supervisor. If you do not receive any correspondence with respect to evaluations, or if you have any questions about the evaluation process, feel free to contact CIEE's evaluation administrator by e-mail at evals@ciee.org.
