CIEE Services

CIEE has earned an excellent reputation in the field of student exchange by providing all sponsored trainees with the highest level of customer service. As a CIEE sponsored Trainee, you are entitled to a variety of helpful services:

Pre-Departure Orientation: before you travel to the US you will be provided with an online orientation and a Trainee Program Handbook that will answer many of the questions that may come up during a typical training experience.

Health and Travel Insurance: CIEE provides all sponsored Trainees with coverage against the typical risks associated with international traveling. For detailed information on this policy, please click here.

24-Hour Emergency Support: in the event of an emergency, you can also reach CIEE at any time by calling 1-888-268-6245.

Online Program Evaluations: to help you have the best experience possible, CIEE requires that Host Companies and Trainees complete program evaluations at the mid-point and end of the training program. By reviewing these evaluations, CIEE is able to ensure that the training program is able to meet both parties' expectations.

Regional Networking Events: as a forum for bringing current Trainees together and allowing them to interact with CIEE staff, CIEE occasionally hosts networking events in larger metropolitan areas throughout the US.

J-2 Visas for Dependents: all dependents of CIEE-sponsored Trainees are eligible for a J-2 Visa. Applications for J-2 Visas can be submitted with your official CIEE Trainee Program Application.
