CIEE Representatives

As Trainee Program participant, you should be familiar with the CIEE representative in your home country. This representative likely provided you with information on the Trainee Program, advised you during your application process, and forwarded you the documentation necessary to secure your J-1 Visa. During your program dates, the CIEE representative will also serve as an important home country contact, should any personal issues arise.

Remember, while CIEE representatives do play a key role in the marketing and enrollment portions of the process, and throughout the program as necessary, CIEE serves as your 'Legal Sponsor.' This means that CIEE becomes the first point of contact once you arrive in the US.
