Trainee Select

If your company has already hosted a CIEE sponsored Trainee, then you are familiar with the benefits that come with this experience. Many companies are tentative about hosting initially, but quickly fall in love with the dedication and professionalism of their international Trainees. Replacing a current trainee becomes a priority, but locating similarly qualified candidates can be difficult.

CIEE’s Trainee Select service can help you recruit qualified international trainees to fill existing training positions at your company. This service will allow you to post your open training positions on CIEE’s Trainee Select Open Position Board, which is viewed by students and young professionals from around the globe who have been recruited by our overseas representative network. Interested candidates are required to submit cover letters and resumes, which CIEE will prescreen based on your stated preferences and forward on to you in there seems like a potential match.

Benefits of CIEE’s Trainee Select service:

• CIEE will help you update your training position(s) for posting.
• Students from around the world will be able to view and apply for your position.
• CIEE will only forward you the most qualified applicants for review.
• Once you have selected a Trainee, J-1 visa issuance is expedited because your training position is pre-approved.

Home Country Recruitment Fairs

In conjunction with our representatives abroad, CIEE organizes hiring events at universities around the world. These events allow potential host companies the opportunity to travel with CIEE staff so they can conduct in-person interviews and learn about the local culture and educational system firsthand. CIEE representatives in each location will ensure that these events are well organized and well attended. We also recruit on behalf of employers who would like to hire trainees but cannot attend the events.
