work load

Program participants work in Spain under the supervision and guidance of classroom teachers and have a teaching load of 12 hours per week. Language & Culture Assistants and the school staff may agree upon other activities and responsibilities to be involved in outside of the 12 hours at school, including faculty meetings, making presentations as an expert on the United States, and participating in extra-curricular activities such as music and theater performances, sporting events, international day, English language club, and more.
