Placement locations are allocated in accordance with their application date and in turn confirmation date to CIEE. If you are interested in a high demand location such as Sevilla, Granada, Malaga, near the beach, etc, CIEE strongly suggests that you send in your complete application as early as possible.

• Early applications are encouraged, particularly if you have a preferred location in Andalusia.

• Upon review of your complete application, an acceptance decision will be made by CIEE. In some cases, a phone interview may be necessary.

• Applicants are accepted to the program on a rolling basis and will be notified by e-mail. You’ll be assigned to a CIEE representative who will share program information via your My CIEE account. S/he will be there to answer all your questions regarding timelines, program dates, cultural queries, and more.

• Upon acceptance to the program it is necessary to submit a non-refundable commitment deposit of $500 ($1000 with TEFL option) within 10 days of the acceptance notification email date.

• School assignments will be made starting in late May in the same order that commitment deposits have reached CIEE.

• After your school assignment has been presented, your placement confirmations must be received by CIEE within 10 days of offer. Confirmation is made by remitting the balance of the program fee.
