Teach in the DR—PUCMM
CIEE places teachers on the Teach in the Dominican Republic—PUCMM program in the cities of Santiago and Santo Domingo. The program was created to meet demands for English teachers in the rapidly expanding ESL departments at the Pontifica Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra campuses. PUCMM is increasing the foreign language requirement to four years for all local students who matriculate after 2009, and CIEE is pairing up to help them meet the growing faculty requirements. Experienced or prospective teachers will find themselves leading English classes to students across the faculties at this top-ranked university in the Dominican Republic.
