Throughout the application process, skilled CIEE staff members are here to walk you through the steps and answer your questions. U.S. based staff members have the advantage of communicating with our local staff in Shanghai to make sure all aspects of your overseas experience are accounted for, from visas and teaching contracts to school placements and dealing with foreign affairs officers.

The U.S. State Department declares: You should verify the conditions and terms of employment with your school before accepting a teaching position in China. This is what CIEE is there to handle on the front-end. We work with the schools to create quality placements and contracted working experiences for all of our participants.
